Nose
A walk on sun-warmed sands that Wick might have difficulty in delivering. Tropical trees. Orange blossom. Palate
Delicate. A hint of resin. Vanilla. Slightly winey. Finish
Very salty. Very appetising. Comment
Tastes like Manzanilla to me. I don't speak for anyone else.
Dave Broom
Nose
Dusty warehouse. Hint of marine character and soft fruits. A little musty. Palate
Good oily feel (typical of the distillery) apricot, Juicy Fruit chewing gum. Touch of smoke, dry oak. Finish
Short. Comment
All the elements are there but haven't knitted. Better with a couple more years in the cask.
