Michael Jackson
Nose
Waterfront. Slight tar-like smokiness.
Palate
Syrupy maltiness with suggestions of stewed fruit. Seems suddenly to slim down, becoming firm and slightly metallic. Then takes on a surge of saltiness.
Finish
Dusty. Slightly woody.
Comment
Far from the best Glen Scotia, but I have always entertained a sneaky respect for this distillery.

Nose
Great start: clotted cream, banana split. Oily. Then inner tube, peat shed in the rain, damp tweeds. The rubber intensifies with water. Old wellies/neoprene.
Palate
Peaty, nut oil, earth. Reminiscent of a back-street garage. Long and oily.
Finish
Grubby.
Comment
I try to like Glen Scotia, really I do, but I simply can't.
