Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Sweet and fragrant. Demerara sugar. Melon. Grapefruit. A touch exotic fruit. Pineapple. Then develops on fresh oak and cedar.
Palate
Mellow. Velvety. Releases more wood notes than on the nose. Resin.
Finish
A little biting. Long. After Eight mint chocolate.
Comment
On the sweet side, although the finish brings out a more assertive note. A good winter warmer.

Dave Broom

Nose
Creamily sweet and lush. Bread and butter pudding, grass/straw, custard Tokaji, clootie dumpling. Good grain notes.
Palate
Slick and soft, well matured. Spices, peach and a touch of almost burnt treacle underneath. Soft, toffee-ed.
Finish
Nutty, chocolate.
Comment
A delicious rounded session blend.
