Nose
Perfumy. Delicate. Garden mint and honeycomb. A touch of smoke. Apple juice and dry hay when diluted. Palate
Smooth at start but a bit too soft. The delicacy of the nose is not there. Malty with a toffeish mintiness. A cardboard touch underneath. Appley with water. Finish
Not very exciting. Clean though. Comment
A pleasant dram, especially with a slash of water but lacks nerve and buoyancy.
Dave Broom
Nose
Light with distinct smoke. Behind there are fragrant white fruits, crab apple, crystallised fruits. In time, a light nuttiness. Palate
Soft sweet start the peat held in check by balancing acidity. Fresh, lightly smoky and clean. Finish
Sweet, with smoke drifting by. Comment
The smoke is a surprise, but well put together.
