Nose
Intensely fragrant. Fruity and buttery. Stewed plums, custard, white pepper. Vanilla fudge. Mint chocolate. Very dessert-like. Palate
Mellow, elegant. Fruit and oak interlaced. Finish
Unexpected dryness with a bitter note. Comment
The nose is rich and harmonious. The palate not so lavish, somewhat dulled by wood dominating. It would have shown better at a higher strength.
Dave Broom
Nose
Rounded. Dried grasses, coconut, honeydew melon. Tree blossom (lime tree/linden). Slightly lean. Palate
Touch of smoke, firm structure then a liquorous syrupy quality. Coconut again. Finish
Sweet then dries into nut. Comment
Another which picks up well on the palate.
