Nose
Treacle toffee. Palate
Smooth, marshmallow, middle. Dairy toffee. Scottish tablet. Finish
After all that comfort confectionery, a late, loud, explosion. Comment
Lusty, voluptuous. Finishes with a bang.
Dave Broom
Nose
Greenish tinge. A little musty to start, bleated fruit with plenty of cask influence (bung cloth) alongside marzipan and green plum. Intense. Water brings out a floral perfume. Palate
Sweeter than the nose and a slight vegetal quality reminiscent of agave. Piercing. Finish
Fairly hot. Comment
Has a punchy refreshing quality. Worth a look.
