Arthur Motley
Nose
Green apples, fresh paint and fruit syrup. Kiwis and brown bread. A little eucalyptus oil and mint choc chip later on.
Palate
Sweet, malty, earthy then dry. Maturity and complexity.
Finish
Chocolate with citric sourness.
Comment
Typically lowland, with a nice progression of sensation: sweet, malty then zingy.

Nose
Intense. Cooked vegetable (cauliflower), yeasty start then opens into rose petal, Turkish delight, green apple/old apple. Grassy and shows some complexity. Lightly charred.
Palate
Very light, perfumed. Lacy texture. Sweet to start then comes a fresh stewed green plum flavour and red liquorice.
Finish
Vanilla essence.
Comment
Well balanced, though not quite the extra dimension of the very best on show.
