- Nose
- Green apples, fresh paint and fruit syrup. Kiwis and brown bread. A little eucalyptus oil and mint choc chip later on.
- Palate
- Sweet, malty, earthy then dry. Maturity and complexity.
- Finish
- Chocolate with citric sourness.
- Comment
- Typically lowland, with a nice progression of sensation: sweet, malty then zingy.

- Nose
- Intense. Cooked vegetable (cauliflower), yeasty start then opens into rose petal, Turkish delight, green apple/old apple. Grassy and shows some complexity. Lightly charred.
- Palate
- Very light, perfumed. Lacy texture. Sweet to start then comes a fresh stewed green plum flavour and red liquorice.
- Finish
- Vanilla essence.
- Comment
- Well balanced, though not quite the extra dimension of the very best on show.
