- Nose
- Very herbal. Angelica, lemon grass. Like a chartreuse. Quite pleasant.
- Palate
- Smooth at start then getting assertively oaky and bitter. The herbal notes keep on.
- Finish
- Quite short, slightly biscuity.
- Comment
- The nose is appealing but the palate far tougher. Water eases the release of grassy notes. But the aromatic profile keeps shallow.

- Nose
- Lemonade/Lucozade. Spritzy-sweetsharp. Pink bubblegum. All this, yet well formed and not overpowering. (Japanese levels of complexity!)
- Palate
- Simple and somewhat winey at first. Then chocolate. A little nutty?
- Finish
- Oily perhaps and a little toasty.
- Comment
- Funky nose is compromised by a relatively straightforward palate. Still enjoyable enough, though.
