80- Nose
- Strawberry and rosehip once more but this has some greater substance and depth. Some smoke in there as well. Slight touch of youth.
- Palate
- Sweet quite concentrated fruits. Again hinting at depth. Lightly phenolic.
- Finish
- Good length mixing woodsmoke and hedgerow fruits.
- Comment
- A success.

80- Nose
- Some sherry-like dried fruit notes, with some berries and spice too. There's smoke too with a little oaty cereal character.
- Palate
- Very sweet initially, with vanilla and treacle toffee, with cinnamon spice and dryness coming through later. Some berry fruit is in the delivery too.
- Finish
- A thread of smoke.
- Comment
- Another successful finish where the cask input seemed to work with the spirit.
