Nose
Strawberry and rosehip once more but this has some greater substance and depth. Some smoke in there as well. Slight touch of youth. Palate
Sweet quite concentrated fruits. Again hinting at depth. Lightly phenolic. Finish
Good length mixing woodsmoke and hedgerow fruits. Comment
A success.

Nose
Some sherry-like dried fruit notes, with some berries and spice too. There’s smoke too with a little oaty cereal character. Palate
Very sweet initially, with vanilla and treacle toffee, with cinnamon spice and dryness coming through later. Some berry fruit is in the delivery too. Finish
A thread of smoke. Comment
Another successful finish where the cask input seemed to work with the spirit.
