Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Fudge. Creamy oriental desserts.
Palate
Teasing balance of rosewater, marzipan sweetness and cedary dryness. Beautifully combined flavours.
Finish
Big, almondy. Like chewing on halva. Long, lingering soothing.
Comment
Linkwood is a lovely whisky, especially in its older incarnations.

Jim Murray

Nose
Slightly tired with fading malt supplemented by ripe cherry.
Palate
A spicy start only tends to disguise the over eager oak.
Finish
Dry and oaky.
Comment
Old and awaiting the grim reaper.
