- Nose
- Oaky. Damp wood. An earthy note. Like walking by a heap of apples in a
Norman orchard on a drecht September day. A distant note of dying bonfire. On time, a more appealing floral note. Marshmallow.
- Palate
- Quite smooth at first then tightening on an astringent feel and flavour. Oak and dried apple. Dusty spices in the back.
- Finish
- Dry, dusty and spicy.
- Comment
- A dour character which lifts up on the nose but not on the palate.

- Nose
- Back in the humidor again, drying leaves, tobacco smoke. A little candle
wax. Some floral and fruit notes too.
- Palate
- Almost smoked applewood cheese. Oak is here and dries things out a little.
Gentle spices warm the mouth.
- Finish
- Drying with spices.
- Comment
- A great autumnal whisky, mirrors the season.
