- Nose
- Clean and fresh with a light yeastiness that's cut by a grapefruit like zing. the higher strength adds to the sharpness, so much so that water is essential.
- Palate
- Still clean, but juicier than the nose suggests. Sweet and gently fruity with
some baked pear and apple.
- Finish
- Light maltiness and an old-fashioned lemonade touch.
- Comment
- Fresh and vibrant. Attractive.

- Nose
- Light, slightly sharp, grassy. A distant smoke like a dying bonfire under steady rain. On time, some sweeter notes. Lemon balm, dill. Lemon peel.
- Palate
- Sweet and satin-like at start. Then the alcohol sensation bites the tongue. Light cardboard note. The smoke is not perceptible. Develops on a fresh minty flavour. Water gives a velvety feel.
- Finish
- Short, drier.
- Comment
- A light whisky, a bit sharp when neat. Mellows with water.
