Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Sweet and slightly malty. Wheat chaff, green oak, banana skin, boiled sweets. Good nutty concentration and a hint of dried grass. Palate Light honey and macadamia nut and a hint of barley sugar. The middle is little lacking in power. Finish Light malt. Comment A gentle and sweet farewell to one of the gentlest and sweetest men in the industry. Farewell Gordon, we’ll miss you.

Martine Nouet Nose Perfumy. Citrussy. Lime and citron (cédrat). Touch of orange blossom. Delicate and intriguing. Opens up on sweet orange marmalade. Palate Rich, deep. Coating. Releases a full basket of fruit : the citrus fruit captured on the nose and also exotic fruit wrapped in a fresh minty mist. Finish Everlasting. Sensuous. Delicately spicy.
