- Nose
- Assertive. Rich, honeyed. Malty. Also fruity. Peach cobbler?
- Palate
- Big, textured. Perfumy. Passion fruit, peaches, maraschino cherry brandy, almonds.
- Finish
- Very firm, perfumy and long, with a balancing ginger dryness.
- Comment
- Is this a vatted malt? Glendullan-plus?

- Nose
- Mature. A light fingal note: cep, roasted meat, dry oak. Old cupboards, antique shops.
- Palate
- Delivers on the palate. Old and quite rich: leather, nut bowl, black fruits, oaky and firm, a hint of smoke. Just enough sweetness to carry.
- Finish
- Woodland walk in autumn.
- Comment
- The balance tips things to the oaky side. Good on the palate, but only for lovers of old whisky.
