Grant's The Family Reserve

The Family Reserve
Scotch Whisky ~ Blended

Dave Broom

Mellow. Sherry notes: nuts, light dried fruits. Fresh cereal, sweet sawdust and mellow fruits. Sufficient dry grass and flowers to add complexity and lift. Darjeeling tea wine accents.
Soft and light entry, then floats across the tongue. The juiciness (pear) helps anchor it and that thickness in the middle is the key.
Berry fruits.
A teasing mix of sweet and dry. One of the best ‘standards'.

Rob Allanson

Malty at first, fresh bread and warmed biscuits. Honey flapjacks and pencil shavings. Cake mix and dried fruits.
More baked cereals, light caramels and vanilla. Some juciy fruits, red apples and pears.
Resin like and a little fiery, in a good way. Warming.
Of a very high standard, plenty going on and all in balance.
