- Nose
- Fleshy and ripe with lots of dark chocolate, treacle toffee and a hint of leather, black fruits and walnut. A mix of woods and a punch of Olde English marmalade.
- Palate
- Chocolate orange to start, then a softening and mellowing in centre where there is more vanilla before it crisps into malt rasp. More pot pourri with water.
- Finish
- Clean, a little cinnamon.
- Comment
- Seems more mature than its age. A rich, complex blend.
- Nose
- Forest floor, bracken notes. Then comes tropical fruit, moving from passion fruit, mango to apples. Some citrus gives it a lift.
- Palate
- A mellow and gentle start. Almost mango and orange smoothie, fruits and vanilla. A tweak of spices and a little pine.
- Finish
- Crisp and refreshing.
- Comment
- Good blending.
