- Nose
- Obviously mature. Dry wood, bracken, (Brazil) nutty malt. Still has that signature black fruited richness which runs through the range. Chestnut and wood polish.
- Palate
- Soft and chewy. Light lavender notes, some zestiness. Very pure and lifted.
- Finish
- Clean, medium length.
- Comment
- More lifted than the 12 and 18. The perfumed note is rather dominant.
- Nose
- Leafy, that humidor note of age. Bow rosin. The oak shows through as does a flowery element.
- Palate
- Quite fresh given the age, sweet tobacoo and a zip of mint. Some spices
too, cinnamon and ginger.
- Finish
- Sweet with spices.
- Comment
- Old but still has the swagger of its younger stable mates.
