- Fat. Hot, buttered popcorn with lots of crème brûlée and ripe banana dipped in chocolate. Succulent with a jag of spruce.
- Palate
- Gentle and sweet with a touch of ginger. The spiciness and grip from oak helps to balance.
- Finish
- Clean and sweet.
- Comment
- A very stylish grain which is showing grip and character rather than just getting sweeter and flabbier with age.

- Like sitting in a cinema, all popcorn, nachos and sweets. Something slightly pine forest to it and a hint of mint.
- Palate
- Full of spices and a good whack of oak. Coconut creams. Well balanced with the spices coming to the fore.
- Finish
- Long, lush and sweet.
- Comment
- Shows that young, ish, grain can be a serious contender. Grain, the industry's little secret? I think so.
