Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Toffeeish. Fruity.
Palate
Roses. Fruits. A suggestion of milk chocolate.
Finish
Firm balancing oaky dryness.
Comment
A beautifully composed whisky. No aggression, but a great sense of authority.

Dave Broom

Nose
Fairly rich: dried fig, hard toffee, chocolate, light smoke. Rich and fruity with drier notes of sacking, redwood, walnut.
Palate
Firm with positive grip. Dried fruits/coffee grounds sit in the centre surrounded by oak. Tea-like tannins, dry spices.
Finish
Dusty.
Comment
A dry whisky that wakes the palate up.
