Nose
Sweet and floral. Orange blossom, honeysuckle. A delicate lemon note emerges, mingling with bakery aromas. Marshmallow. Palate
Creamy sweetness the nose should have delivered. Quite prickly. Ginger and Tabasco. Finish
Drying, spicy with a touch of cashew nuts. Comment
What you nose is not what you get. The palate is rather coarse as much as the nose is subtle. Water cuts the edges.
Dave Broom
Nose
Very clean and pure. Light grass, some tropical fruit juice, lightly floral and fragrant if a little lean – there’s a hint of putty/linseed oil. Palate
Light. Starts sweet, then softens into peach before becoming nutty (praline). Much better on the palate than the rather plain nose. Very well ordered. Finish
Clean, but a little short. Comment
A trembling and rather sensitive wee soul, but a charming afternoon companion.
