Nose
Intense. Sunny country fragrances. Dry hay, wild flowers. Sunflower honey. Then apple blossom and ripe apples. A touch of new leather. Palate
Oak grip. Silky texture. Fruit is released at midpalate with a burst of spice. A mix of pears, peach, ginger cooked in a vanilla syrup. Finish
Sherbety, dry and lingering. Slightly dusty. Comment
A colourful character, lively and dancing on nose and palate.
Dave Broom
Nose
Splintery attack. Fresh wood, a walk in a warmsummer forest. Marzipan, wet raffia, green grass/blackcurrant leaf. Palate
Off-dry and perfumed with good length. Melon balls and gentle soft fruit. Then the grassiness returns. Finish
Dry. Comment
Another lighter one which only gets going in the middle of the mouth.
