- Nose
- Light oak and bran –quite dry. Wholemeal toast with a little quince and light almond. Touch of smoke and wet grass. With water, thick and oat like.
- Palate
- Smooth then the nuttiness picks up. Lots of toffee popcorn and a little dried
fruit as well.
- Finish
- Sweet and nutty.
- Comment
- Solid and dependable.
- Nose
- Toasted cereal grains, honey and caramel. Raisin, sultana and cinnamon
flapjack. A lift of citrus; orange and lemon. Some dried fruit too.
- Palate
- Rich and sweet. There is the caramel and flapjacks from the nose. Wood
spices and orange peel.
- Finish
- Tangy orange marmalade.
- Comment
- Opens the aged range of Hanky very well, sets the level.
