Nose
Rich and aromatic, with plums, incense, vanilla, soft oak and warm milk. Oriental spices, and finally floral notes. Extremely complex.
Palate
Smooth and spicy, with caramel, honey and contrasting dark chocolate and bitter orange.
Finish
Relatively long, with nutmeg and dark oak notes.
Comment
Diverse aroma and flavour characteristics are intertwined in a manner typical of a fine Japanese whisky.

Nose
Delicate floral aromas of rose along with lychee and honey.
Palate
Chocolate flavours make their presence felt as do some melon, pear and light oak notes.
Finish
Some subtle oak and light spice.
Comment
A big hit for me: a fruity, floral whisky of superb balance.
