75- Nose
- Herbal with a dry,twiggy,nuttiness though there's some sweetness behind which emerges in time. Sensual and weighty with stewed fruit,black butter and a touch of sandalwood.
- Palate
- Quite fat and maybe just lacking in grip.Dried flower,violet. Rich dried fruits.Doesn't like water.
- Finish
- Ripe and rich. Balanced
- Comment
- Just a little too fat for me,though a little unfair to slip two blends among all of these malts!

- A forest at autumn with sweet damp leaves.Very perfumed with just a suggestion of smoke wafting through the trees.
- Palate
- Very refreshing and clean. Some Christmas cake notes and a hint of mint.
- Finish
- Another luxurious whisky. A little peat again.
- Comment
- Very moreish, good for a session or two with friends.
