Dave Broom

Nose
Groundnut oil mixed with dry oak and cereal. Chalky,just-baked fruit cake. Not a lot by way of interaction. With water it's flat
Palate
More substance than on the the nose and the fruitiness in the centre suggests that more time in cask wouldn't have hurt.Light maltiness
Finish
Green fruits
Comment
Not firing fully yet

Martine Nouet

Nose
Malty and nutty. Dry hay, honey. Dried meadow flowers.A hint of barley sugar and butterscotch
Palate
Round and mellow. Velvety. Mint toffee. Refreshing and coating. Malty. Getting spicy
Finish
Dry,spicy.Slightly crisp
Comment
A well balanced malty character. Needs a dash of water to cut the dry edges on the finish
