Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Nose
Highly spiced. Old apple skin, raisins soaked in water, fig rolls, stewed Earl Grey tea.
Palate
Raisined sweetness on the front of the mouth, very light smoke and a touch of menthol. Gentle juicy grain carries flavours across the tongue well. Clean with decent balance .
Finish
Wheat chaff, chocolate digestive crumbs.
Comment
Well put together. Not hugely complex, but a pleasant dram.

Arthur Motley

Nose
Granny Smith apples, lemon peel, and a delicate minerally graininess. Fudge, lime and Shredded Wheat.
Palate
Pleasant sweet fruitiness and a medium viscosity.
Finish
Short, sweet with a bit of burnt caramel too.
Comment
Fine, but no dandy.
