Nose
A bit restrained. Fruit and oak are well integrated. Watermelon. White peach. A touch of rose syrup. Opens on sweet syrupy notes. Tangerine juice. Polished floor. Palate
Light and silky. Fruit basket. Malty sweetness at midpalate the drying out on a oaky touch. Finish
Dry and nutty. Comment
A pleasant summery dram. Keeps fruity all the way.
Dave Broom
Nose
Crisp and floral with cedar and wood ash/dead BBQ. Once again an almost wheat-like dusty sweetness. Slightly unripe (green banana, floral) and immature. Palate
A very bright start, crisp, clean and gingery/japaleno. Then becomes a little too sweet: flat Irn-Bru and bubblegum. Finish
Rather short. Dilute. Comment
All front loaded, but doesn’t deliver all the way through.
