- Nose
- Intensely marine, briny, invigorating. Creosote, wet pebble. Dying bonfire by the shore.
- Palate
- The sweet maltiness followed by a phenolic dryness. Water brings out more sweetness and smoke. Garden mint.
- Finish
- Dry, quite lingering, slight bitterness. Chewed herbs coming back.
- Comment
- Definitely an Islander, tastes young. Could have more finesse.

- Nose
- Fresh with light creamy notes, scented, crisp oak, bracken, cut grass. In time a dry smokiness.
- Palate
- A good match between this delicate, slightly floral quality, a crunchy palate and light smoke. Balanced and restrained.
- Finish
- Creamy.
- Comment
- Well put together, but not as smoky as I recall.
