Nose
Round and well-covered with some mellow maturity. Fruit cake mix,clean spiciness, integrated wood. Lightly resinous,incense slightly yeasty.
Palate
Generous,with a bitter/sweet interplay. Gentle in the centre then a full-on spice attack mixed with mulberry depth. Raspberry vinegar, lemon zest. Water makes it too bitter.
Finish
Head-shakingly zesty.
Comment
It has balance but needs to be approached with cautious respect.

Nose
Intense with a slightbutyric touch. Overripe fruit. Medlars. A fungal and earthy note. Develops on sweeter notes. White chocolate with candied orange.
Palate
Very sweet at start then releasing a firework of spices. Oak shows up but not blatantly.
Finish
Quickly fading. Warm and pleasant.
Comment
The nose is more expressive than the palate which does not have the same elegancy and nuance. But still very drinkable.
