Nose
Tropical fruit. Water melons. Orange flower water. Palate
Pleasantly oily. Very light-tasting at first, but with some flavour development. Honeydew melon with ginger. Finish
Spicy, warming, long, soothing. Comment
Very scenty and sweet. A restorative. Perhaps after a bath or swim?
Jim Murray
Nose
Typically heady and sweet. Soft ginger and mint make for a complex and attractive nose. Palate
Surprisingly light at first, then fattens with a malty, slightly bitter oiliness. Finish
A better balance of oak and malt as the vanilla punches in. Comment
Interesting stuff. Hardly glorious but unlike any other single malt around with an astonishing array of flavours and mood changes.
