- Nose
- Lots of pine sap, even a whiff of turpentine (which is not a negative comment) then comes nutmeg and red cherry. Quite bourbon like. Banana peel and cacao.
- Palate
- Spicy. A similar first-fill hit to Bain's but this has more eucalyptus notes and
very juicy fruits. Palate coating.
- Finish
- Soft. Pine like.
- Comment
- The most wood influenced. Medium bodied. Very focused spirit.
- Nose
- Heady oak notes at first, bow resin. The most bourbonesque of the pack. Deep dark sugar and spices.
- Palate
- A spice punch that mellows to a nutmeg sweetness, similar to egg custard. A whiff of menthol and ends with soft fruits, peaches.
- Finish
- Gentle and long.
- Comment
- Again wonderfully balanced and a great example of Invergordon.
