Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Grainy. Flour-like. Pastry fresh out of the oven. Palate Sweet spiciness. Cinnamon. Savoury and sweet. Meaty. Pine nuts. Moroccan pastilla. Finish Piney. Balsamic. Peppery. Comment A lot happening. A very lively whisky.

Dave Broom Nose Extremely peaty with cereal/dried grasses/brown bracken behind. Smoked fish/venison and tar. Becomes rubbery with water. Palate Good delivery with lots of smoke, then gymshoe soles. Young. Finish Smoke and oatcake. Comment For serious peat freaks only. Would have been better if kept in cask for a few more years.
