- Nose
- Oak dominant, quite hard, dry bracken. Lots of bark-like woodiness, pine,
garden clippings, old pine needles, vegetal, then comes sweet
caramelised wood and a hint of custard. Bourbon like...
- Palate
- ...but it isn't because it doesn't have the sweetness. Dry spirit and dry wood.
- Finish
- Firm oak.
- Comment
- Lost in the forest like Hansel and Gretel, but before they find the house
of sweets.

- Nose
- Nutty and oaky. Autumnal fruit. Medlars, cooked apples.
- Palate
- Crisp and dry. Sherbety. Oak prevails and frames toffee apples. Getting
spicier and drier.
- Finish
- Dry and spicy, slightly warming. Dusty.
- Comment
- The alcohol is not completely mastered. This whisky needs a good
dash of water and gets fruitier.
