Nose
Grenadine. Biscuity. Shortbread. Becoming slightly nutty. Soft spices. Touch of cumin. Palate
Sweet, too sweet. Syrupy. Barley sugar. Caramel. Coffee flavoured toffee. Finish
Tightened up. Sweet all the way, then leaves a warm feel back in the throat. Rhubarb jam. Comment
Nose and palate seem to be flattened by excess of sickly sweetness.
Dave Broom
Nose
Heathery, slightly splintery, very light smoke. Sweeter with water. Vanilla. Quite distant. Lacks life. Palate
Soft and sweet. Flows well. Orange crates, light soot, nutty. Finish
Pretty short. Comment
Though it flows well and has balance it just lacks complexity and energy.
