Nose
Perfumery. Light vanilla. A suggestion of tangerines. A hint of very dark chocolate. Palate
Rich. Cream-filled pralines. Hazelnuts. Finish
Gingery. Spicy. Comment
I have not previously encountered such a full expression of Auchentoshan, but the style suits the whisky.
Dave Broom
Nose
Very citric: tangerine, lemon, alomst orange muscat, with light malt. Sadly, water drives the top notes away leaving mealy malt. Palate
Sweet. Orange jelly. The sweetness stays alongside the malt. There's also a slight metallic edge. Finish
Crisp. Comment
Sweet and simple.
