- Perfumery. Light vanilla. A suggestion of tangerines. A hint of very dark chocolate.
- Palate
- Rich. Cream-filled pralines. Hazelnuts.
- Finish
- Gingery. Spicy.
- Comment
- I have not previously encountered such a full expression of Auchentoshan, but the style suits the whisky.

- Very citric: tangerine, lemon, alomst orange muscat, with light malt. Sadly, water drives the top notes away leaving mealy malt.
- Palate
- Sweet. Orange jelly. The sweetness stays alongside the malt. There's also a slight metallic edge.

- Crisp.

- Sweet and simple.
