Floral and fruity. Wild rose, apple blossom. Barley sugar. Sweet apple compote. Slightly spirity. Hint of toffee.
Palate
Light bodied. A bit sharp. Overripe medlar. A cheesy touch.
Finish
Tangy and dry, soothing almondy notes.
Comment
Pleasant fruitiness on the nose but the palate is somewhat dour and one dimensional.

Gentle and delicate. Apple pie, banana, cooked brown sugar. A little buzzy with alcohol.
Palate
Needs water which improves it considerably. Fruit kernel, orchard fruit. Lively with a hint of flowers.
Finish
Short and clean. Oak.
Comment
A good aperitif dram.
