Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Very fresh, appetising fruitiness.
Palate
Quite mouth-filling. Malty. Butter. Shortbread.
Finish
Lively. Gingery.
Comment
Very sweet. A mid afternoon pick me up? A dessert whisky?

Dave Broom

Nose
Pretty high-toned with lemon, honey nut loops, vanilla and mead. Water brings out coconut, vanilla. All very clean and pretty.
Palate
Very soft grain to start. There's plenty going on with a nice contrast between tingling spice and soft sweet grain. Well balanced. Flows across the palate.
Finish
Very soft.
Comment
It's a lovely whisky, but somehow I expect more from a 20 Years Old.
