Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Creamy. Cedary. Fresh sweat. Aromatic. Palate Firm. Full flavours. Nutty. Very toffeeish. Apricot-like. Finish Spicy. Slight sulphur. Comment I find the aroma quite sexy. The palate is big, but the finish leaves me wondering about the casks.

Jim Murray Nose Sherry so thick you can cut through it. Palate Gloriously fat and rich; delicious barley, intermingling with juicy plums. Big and sturdy throughout. Finish A peppery spice begins to formulate, as does the drier oak. But it is the softness of the grain which impresses most. Comment This is a great Irish whiskey, where the faultless sherry is played and controlled to near perfection.
