- Creamy. Cedary. Fresh sweat. Aromatic.
- Palate
- Firm. Full flavours. Nutty. Very toffeeish. Apricot-like.
- Finish
- Spicy. Slight sulphur.
- Comment
- I find the aroma quite sexy. The palate is big, but the finish leaves me wondering about the casks.

- Sherry so thick you can cut through it.
- Palate
- Gloriously fat and rich; delicious barley, intermingling with juicy plums. Big and sturdy throughout.

- A peppery spice begins to formulate, as does the drier oak. But it is the softness of the grain which impresses most.
- Comment
- This is a great Irish whiskey where the faultless sherry is played and controlled to near perfection.
