Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Superbly aromatic. Cedary. Palate Dried apricots. Marshmallow. Syrup-soaked seed cake. Finish Wafers. Peppery dryness. Comment Distinctive. A very full pot-still Irish.

Jim Murray Nose Spicy start is a detour to the sweet unmalted barley. Palate Mouth-watering start with enormous pot still arrival. But the impact is cushioned slightly by a silky sweetness . Finish Hardness remains but is softened by a cocoa/caramel thread . Comment A really clean, compact whiskey which expands in a controlled but mouthwatering manner.
