Nose
Buttery vanillins, followed by fragrant notes, orchard fruits, sweet malt and a hint of char. Finally, peach blossom.
Palate
Pepper, vanilla, honey and overt oaky Bourbon character merge with fruitier, more malty characteristics.
Finish
Medium in length, with fatty spices and faintly smoky oak.
Comment
A curious beast! The name suggests a fusion of Bourbon and Scotch. Interesting idea in theory!

Nose
Bit shy on the nose; what's there is mostly caramel and vanilla.
Palate
Vanilla and oak play the starring roles here. A hint of warming peat lurks in the shadows. A touch thin in terms of mouthfeel.
Finish
Short, and sweet, a touch of dry spice.
Comment
This rather young, undeveloped Bourbon/Scotch whisky hybrid doesn't work for me neat, but would probably drink better with a mixer like cola or ginger ale.
