Nose
Good full-on rye dusty spiciness, but a slightly metallic/solvent note suggestive of youth. Some floral notes. Yeasty/rising sourdough bread. Polished linoleum
Palate
Light and a little flat. Lots of floury character but little wood integration. Dies with water.
Finish
Buzzy.
Comment
Lacks personality and complexity.

Rob Allanson

Nose
There is rye here in a big way but also an odd note, like a warming radiator. Some lemon zest and a little lavender like aroma.
Palate
Gentle, and while the rye pep is there it is not as well integrated as other ryes.
Finish
A little flinty.
Comment
A decent introduction to the category but loses out to the bigger characters.
