60- Nose
- Good full-on rye dusty spiciness,but a slightly metallic/solvent note suggestive of youth. Some floral notes. Yeasty/rising sourdough bread. Polished linoleum
- Palate
- Light and a little flat. Lots of floury character but little wood integration. Dies with water.
- Finish
- Buzzy.
- Comment
- Lacks personality and complexity.

70- Nose
- There is rye here in a big way but also an odd note,like a warming radiator. Some lemon zest and a little lavender like aroma.
- Palate
- Gentle,and while the rye pep is there it is not as well integrated as other ryes.
- Finish
- A little flinty.
- Comment
- A decent introduction to the category but loses out to the bigger characters.
