- Nose
- Some oak. Custard, clover honey, light peach/mango with a delicate touch of smoke (more applewood than peat smoke). With water it is perfumed with tangerine and shore aromas.
- Palate
- All about texture. Palate-coating, tongue-clinging. White chocolate and mango. Rounded and chewy with lots of pulpy fruits. Has lower levels of smoke. Water moves it into barley sugar while a grassy note gives lift.
- Finish
- Ripe apricot and waxiness.
- Comment
- Unctuous and smooth.
- Nose
- A honey liqueur quality, plenty of honeycomb. Peaches and cream, gentle oak and white chocolate.
- Palate
- That liqueur quality comes over as mouth coating, rich waxiness. Juicy peach and mango too. A touch of smoke lurks as well.
- Finish
- Soft and honeyed.
- Comment
- Seems to stand out on its own in the range. But full and bold all the same.
