- Nose
- Somewhat dry and dusty at first, it eventually permits me some sharp green fruits (gooseberries?) with an almost candyfloss-like top note. Then furniture polish? Beeswax? Resin?
- Palate
- Medium. Balanced. Some burnt pastry. Vanilla? Young oak. A hint of menthol.
- Finish
- Surprisingly soft with some green, vegetal notes.
- Comment
- A curious whisky. Not sure where it's coming from, or going to.

- Nose
- Light and young. Floral (gladioli) and a hint of cereal with a nodule of sweetness. Cooking marmalade, citrus peels, flour.
- Palate
- Liquorous. Sweet and slightly dusty (sawdust and malt). Raisins, coconut, muesli then a soft floral quality. Smooth and rounded, poached fruits to finish.
- Finish
- Charred. Short.
- Comment
- Water splits it. Oak not quite integrated. A good session dram.
