- A whiff of freshly-baked bread, apricots and peaches. Subtle smoke, becoming more leafy.
- Palate
- Fresh and quite lively for its age. Citrus fruit and wood smoke.
- Finish
- Medium to long, with spicy nuts, smoke and a final maritime flourish.
- Comment
- Distillery character has not been overwhelmed by long maturation.

- Humidors, that gentle tobacco leaf note. Slightly spicy and earthy. There are soft fruits here too.
- Palate
- Vibrant and earthy with a very gentle smoke touch. Plenty of soft fruit and a lovely malty edge.
- Finish
- Takes its time but very lush.
- Comment
- A fresh vibrant whisky that belies its years.
