- Very caramelly. Quite bland. Slightly grainy. Rather shy.
- Palate
- Sweet, smooth. Quite refreshing. Pleasant mintiness. Citrus fruit.
- Finish
- Keeps up with fresh minty and citrus notes.
- Comment
- For once, a whisky that delivers more on the palate than on the nose. It could make a pleasant summer dram.

- Clean and soft. Pear, tinned peach (syrup) glace/crystallised fruits. In time, sugared almond, damp raffia, bran, oak. Attractive and sweet.
- Palate
- Soft and gentle with summer fruit, vanilla. Light charred oak frame. Broadens to finish.
- Finish
- Strawberry.
- Comment
- A great session whisky.
