- Nose
- Prickly with a slight vinegary note. Joiner's workshop. Sawdust, green wood. A distant floral note.
- Palate
- Sweet at start but the alcohol bites and numbs the tongue. Some spices and again green oak.
- Finish
- Dry, soothing on sweeter notes.
- Comment
- That whisky definitely needs water to cut the edges but it brings out bitterness. The balance is missing.

- Nose
- Vanilla and sugar. A winey edge to it, grape stalks. Fresh cut oak and some
citrus notes.
- Palate
- Starts with citrus sweetness then the alcohol kicks in. Spices on the middle
of the tongue with that fresh oak.
- Finish
- Grippy and short.
- Comment
- The alcohol needs cutting back, but on the whole not unpleasant.
