- Nose
- Warm straw, honey and lemon. Water makes it drier and brings out wet green ferns.
- Palate
- Clean light and crisp with a soft, vanilla led, mid-palate. Tropical fruit and a slightly chalky quality.
- Finish
- Clean and lightly nutty.
- Comment
- An attractive sipper, but only in decent mouthfuls. A good session whiskey...if one is allowed to say that in these moderate times.

- Nose
- Hand-rolling tobacco, a hint of ginger. More floral and fragrant notes emerge in time, and finally vanilla.
- Palate
- Oily mouthfeel, quite dry, with fudge and emerging spices.
- Finish
- Starting out spicy and drying.
- Comment
- A pleasant enough dram, but lacking real personality.
