Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Peat, then flowery, with cinnamon and apples.
Palate
Firmly malty. Nutty. Grassy. Herbal.
Finish
Dry. Peaty and warming.
Comment
Very much the house style. Has not gained, or lost, much by such a long maturation.

Jim Murray

Nose
A tale of an out-of-control wash still and bars of soap. Some honey still filters through. Amazing!
Palate
The oak takes command and though the vanilla-honey-malt combination tries to hold sway the balance has been lost a little.
Finish
Waxed honey, slightly strained oak but ultimately very soapy.
Comment
The result of a stillman's very worst nightmare.
