Nose
Rich, intense. Fruity. Candied orange, baked apples. Floral as well. Peonies. Turkish delight. Quite unusual.
Palate
Smooth and firm at the same time. Oak is more present on the palate than on the nose, but yet, well integrated. Resinous. Getting sweeter. Fruitier with water.
Finish
Long and dry. Spicy aftertaste. Cinnamon and nutmeg.
Comment
A dram for a sweet tooth. The nose is more complex than the palate though. But there is a some harmony about it.

Nose
Burnt sugar syrup, damp cotton, wood sap and oak shavings. Spun sugar, raspberry liqueur and a little play dough. Bow rosin.
Palate
A little bitter then that caramel sugar takes over. Marzipan, plum pudding and buttered soda farls.
Finish
Long and spicy.
Comment
A gentle whisky that seems well put together. Nice pre dinner.
