Nose
Intense. Sweet and sour. Fruity. Apple and pear cider. Vanilla toffee gradually emerging. Touch of chicken broth. Palate
Sweet start then oak comes in the front, in an elegant manner though. Good sweet and sour balance. Keeps the fruit up. A distant peaty echo. Finish
Well balanced, rather short but clean. Comment
For those who like cider rather sour than sweet! interesting combination for a whisky cooler. A refreshing aperitif.
Dave Broom
Nose
Lightly oiled soft leather, old peach, pine sap/yew tree. With water an incredible citrus oil lift: pine, elderflower, honeycomb, lime blossom. Estery and perfumed. Palate
This floats across the palate having both delicacy and complexity. Honeycomb (sweetness and waxiness). Good feel. Finish
Clean medium length good sweetness. Comment
Once again here’s a great example of that Japanese lightness of character.
